IIAB has been awarded the EMP Shield for Excellence in Shariah-compliant cards for its first Islamic credit card in Jordan , in the Payment Acceptance Conference which was held in Amman, under the patronage of Prime Minister of Economic , Minister of State for Investment Dr. Jawad Al Anani , the Central Bank of Jordan, and in the presence of Mr. Iyad Al-Asali IIAB GM, and number of executive heads of banks and financial institutions operating in Jordan.

The Bank was nominated for this shield through a specialized committee including members of the Central Bank of Jordan, Princess Sumaya University, EMP, Jordan Trade Facilities Company and MENAITech.
