  • Jordanian nationality (resides in Jordan)
  • Age 18 years old  or above
  • New banking customer
  • Valid Jordanian Civil ID.
  • This account is subject to CBJ regulations and IIAB terms and conditions.
  • This account does not offer cheque book, financing, and/or credit card.    
  • IIAB has the right to close the account in case of noncompliance to the terms and conditions and/or exceeding account's limits.
  • Basic Account limits.
Transaction Max limit 
Account Balance*  JOD 700 
Remittances/transfers*   2 inward and 2 outward remittances, subject to bank standard fees with exception of inward remittances from entitled entities**  

Cash withdrawal at branch counter   

2 free of charge transactions per month. Any additional transactions  will be subject   JOD 0.50 fixed fee.

 

*Exceeding balance limit and/or remittances limit for 6 months, will switch the account type to an ordinary account subject to existing account's terms and conditions.

**Entities entitled to remittance fees exemption:

  • The Royal Court
  • National Aid Fund
  • Government and military bodies.
  • International aid agencies authorized by the Ministry of Social Development.
