Under the patronage of the Secretary-General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy, Prof. Abdulsalam Al Abadi, IIAB sponsored the 12th International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Zarqa University. The conference was attended by number of academic participants from Jordan and Arab Countries.

On the sidelines of the conference, a number of discussion sessions were held covering different important topics; especially the one covered the “Role of International Institutions in Supporting Islamic Banks, as well as clarifying the importance of Shari'a supervision, the role of Islamic Banks in achieving economic stability and evaluating the products and services offered by Islamic Banks.
