IIAB denied the news published on some websites and online newspapers that the bank's systems were affected by the virus "Wanna Cry". Mr. Mohammed Said Shahin, Chairman of the Board, said that bank's systems are fully safe and secured and was not affected by the virus at all as the Bank have taken precocious measures to avoid such attacks inorder to protect his customers and systems. He also stressed on the importance of referring to official news sources only and not to spread any news withought verifying the source.
