IIAB the Golden sponsor of the SME Forum 2017
Thu,20 July 2017Islamic International Arab Bank (IIAB) sponsored the SME Forum under the title "SMEs: The Road to Economic Development and Social Justice" organized by the Union of Arab Banks in cooperation with the Central Bank of Jordan and the Association of Banks in Jordan.
Under the patronage of H.E Engineer Yarub Qudah, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, with the presence of Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, Islamic International Arab Bank General Manager Mr. Iyad Asali. In addition to a distinguished elite of banking experts from several Arab countries and some specialized international institutions, during the period 19-20 July 2017 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Amman.
The Forum highlighted the role of small and medium enterprises forum (SMEs) in supporting economic and social development, strategies and mechanisms for the projects, as well as policies of financial inclusion as a platform to support small, medium and micro enterprises, as well as other related topics.
The Small and Medium Enterprises Forum (SMEs) also discussed the role of Islamic Financing in empowering women and supporting SMEs, showcasing successful experiences of the Islamic International Arab Bank in this field, and its development of a special business model for the SMEs Department in the bank.
