IIAB Sponsors the Second National Conference on Climate Change and the Green Economy

The International Arab Islamic Bank (IIAB) participated in the activities of the Second National Conference on Climate Change and the Green Economy, held at Fairmont Amman Hotel under the theme: “National Integration in Climate Action: From Adaptation to Transformation.” The conference was held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Ayman Suleiman, Minister of Environment, and organized by Al Yasmeen Foundation for Training in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment.

 

Representing the Bank at the conference was Dr. Samir Al-Essa, Head of the Business and Investment Sector, reflecting the Bank’s steadfast commitment to supporting national efforts aimed at addressing climate challenges and advancing the transition toward a sustainable economy.

 

Commenting on its participation, IIAB emphasized that the green economy is a fundamental pillar of its strategy and environmental responsibility. The Bank also reaffirmed its commitment to the pivotal and leading role of Islamic financial institutions in financing environmentally friendly projects and providing sustainable solutions that help preserve natural resources for future generations.
